  6. The demo scene in France is very quali-
  7. fied, that's for sure! There are groups
  8. like Melon  Dezign,  Anarchy,  Silents, 
  9. Rebels  and  Dreamdealers, who  show us 
  10. more and more great productions. That's 
  11. OK, but what about the other  aspect in 
  12. the scene - the friendship??  Sometimes 
  13. it seems, that nearly  nobody  likes a-
  14. nother. E.g. there's so  much  bullshit 
  15. spread in several diskmags,  especially
  16. in  the  News & Rumours  sections. Some
  17. times it seems, that the guys in France
  18. don't  know themselves which group they 
  19. are a member  of! Or  are they all in 4 
  20. groups at  the  same  time?!  In nearly 
  21. EVERY upcoming diskmag we can read lots
  22. of new rumours concerning some  people. 
  23. Most of them are BULLSHIT!
  24. This is of course just one example.  In 
  25. fact, you have just to read some scroll 
  26. texts coming  from  France ( e.g.  pack 
  27. disks...) and very soon you read things 
  28. like 'Performer  you motherfucker! Nice 
  29. precalculated  sphere!' or 'Fuck Daryl, 
  30. the gay wanker!'. People  don't seem to 
  31. take ANY care  of  each  other. It also 
  32. seems, that  there's  no other country, 
  33. where so many people  get  kicked  from
  34. their groups. Sometimes I  think,  that 
  35. the leaders of the groups are SEARCHING 
  36. for a reason to kick  some  members, so 
  37. most of  the  reasons  are  ridiculous. 
  38. Just  remember, when  Walt  was  kicked 
  39. from Silents. Well, we don't understand 
  40. any swedish, but we  heard,  that  Walt 
  41. just made  a  little  joke  about  Per-
  42. former's code in the BBS Intro. So that 
  43. was a reason to kick  out  one  of  Si-
  44. lents' best members? Strange...
  45. I also found it very  strange, how Sur-
  46. fer/ex-Anarchy acted in his  'Good  Bye 
  47. article'  in  Stolen  Data  Issue 8. He 
  48. pulls lots  of  groups and persons into 
  49. the dirt without  giving  any  concrete 
  50. reasons, why  they  are  lame  etc.. He 
  51. just gives  last  greets to the 'french 
  52. elite' and NOT to 'all  the lamers like
  53. Iris or Delight etc.'. Then  he   says, 
  54. that Silents France is nowadays a bunch
  55. of brainless losers, Rave/TSL is a tiny 
  56. gnome etc...
  57. Usually, this should be the end of this 
  58. article. But now, some weeks after wri-
  59. ting all those things above, I recieved 
  60. a letter with shocking news: The  Beach 
  61. Party is cancelled!! I think nearly all 
  62. of you know the backgrounds: A  mother-
  63. fucker told  the  party  place  owners, 
  64. that the party  is  illegal and so they 
  65. cancelled  the  whole  thing.   Besides 
  66. that, a lot of guys (Rhah, Titan,  Con-
  67. quest etc.) told  so  much  shit  about 
  68. that party. But  why?? Are  you afraid, 
  69. that groups like EOC 1999 or Devils get 
  70. a better reputation for organizing such 
  71. a great party?  Don't  you  all  think, 
  72. that it costed them  a hell lot of work 
  73. and money? What the heck would YOU say, 
  74. if a stupid person would  destroy every
  75. thing, if YOU'd try to organize a great 
  76. and funny event for hundreds of freaks? 
  77. The scene is a place to  have  fun  and 
  78. peaceful competition and not for  peop-
  79. le, who just search brawls and battles.
  80. So what's the reason  behind  all these 
  81. strange things? Is there really one? It 
  82. would be great, if  a  member  of   the 
  83. French scene could write a  short  ( or 
  84. even a long?) statement  for  the  next 
  85. issue of Top Secret!
